Just finished Christopher Reeve's autobiography (and got caught up on other reading) while I'm taking the bus this month. Has anyone else read it? It inspired me to go back and watch 'Superman: The Movie' again, and you just can't beat him for the hero quality.

Nicholas Cage? Uh .... not quite. However, Dean Cain pulled it off in his own way. Doug O'L.

I bought it a year ago last summer at my college's bookstore.

No, you can't.

Exactly.

If 'pulling it off' in this case means letting your distaste for the role show through and making the character seem wimpy and whiny, then yeah, he pulled it off. King Krypton, the Lord of the Dance - see my Superman script treatment at

Dean Cain had the look, but his material was so dull and uninspirational, he came off as totally overblown and unbelievable. His lines and acting were corny and Superman lacked any confidence.

And his hair was ridiculous. He looked Greek!!!!!!!
