Article on Donners SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE

Today's National Post had a NY Times article that Superman fans may find interesting. It can be found at:

The DVD comes out early next year and includes 9 minutes of new footage, plus 'two documentaries, screen tests, deleted scenes, the screenplay with the director's notations, music outtakes, trailers and myriad other items.' The screen tests include Anne Archer, Stockard Channing, Lesley Ann Warren and Deborah Raffin auditioning for the role of Lois Lane.

Time to buy that DVD player...

This is one DVD that has been a long time coming. With Richard Donnor overseeing the DVD, I'm confident this will be great! I am surprised that Donnor was allowed to oversee the DVD given the fact he was fired by the Salkins after the first film.
