Have you ever listened to the following AudioBooks (Superman, Batman, Kingdom Come)? I highly recommend them.

Regards, Adrian

The Adventures of Superman (BBC 1994, 2 hours 30 minutes)

A supersonic passenger aircraft on its maiden flight collides with a private plane over a packed Metropolis airport - and is saved from destruction by a mysterious flying man...

From Superman's very first deed of daring to his battle of wits and evil businessman tycoon Lex Luthor, The Adventures of Superman tells the story of the Man of Steel from the beginning - of his love affair with Lois Lane, his friendship with Jimmy Olsen, and his battle with not only Lex Luthor but also the Bizarro Superman and Metallo, the cyborg with a kryptonite heart.

Based on the original DC Comics material these stories, featuring a star cast, are recorded in Dolby Surround with spectacular sound effects and a thrilling specially composed orchestral score.

A movie without pictures - you won't believe your ears!

The Adventures of Superman - Doomsday and Beyond (BBC 1993, 2 hours 35 minutes)

The Death of Superman - and His Return!

Epic action, thrilling suspense, and a rollercoaster ride of mounting excitement are all featured in this incredible audio experience, chronicling not only Superman's duel-to-the-death with the monster called Doomsday and how he ultimately returned, but also the story of his love affair with Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane and the true fate of his arch-enemy, Lex Luthor. The fastest-selling comic book story of all time comes to life like nothing you've ever heard before!

A Movie Without Pictures!

Featuring a star cast, incredible sound effects, and a full orchestral score, these cassettes recreate the world of Superman direct from the pages of DC Comics and, in Dolby Surround, you are in the thick of the action! You won't believe your ears!

Batman - Knightfall (BBC 1994, 3 hours)

It is the summer of 1993 and Gotham City is reeling from the shock news that Batman has been crippled by his fiercest enemy foe ever, Bane, a villain of superhuman strength, cunning, and evil. With Bruce Wayne confined to a wheelchair, who will protect the innocent from the dangerous inmates of Arkham Asylum that Bane has released?

Broadcast on Radio 1 FM in their first ever daily drama serial, the cliff-hanging, all-action adventure can now be heard uninterrupted on this 3 hour cassette which combines Dolby Surround Sound with dazzling sound effects and specially composed orchestral music.

You have never h e a r d a comic sound like this!

Kingdom Come (Time Warner AudioBooks 1998, 3 hours)

It's the early years of the 21st Century. Without the guidance and values long championed by the old guard - Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman - a younger generation of super heroes are ravaging the world. Kingdom Come is the story of what defines a hero in a world spinning inexorably out of control, and of the final war that would determine the fate of our planet.

Although I've never tried order a book on tape, I'd imagine that it's the same procedure as a regular book - just ask at the 'special orders counter at your local Chapters, Barnes & Noble, or what have you.

Then again, since (I think) the Superman novel is out of print, the related tape may be out of production as well. To hell with it: BUY THE BOOK. Stern did a good job (and it's an invaluble quick post-revamp reference).
