Description follows: Here is a Rare Leatherbound First Edition/First Printing of Stacked Deck: The Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told. Printed in 1990 by Longmeadow Press. Beautiful genuine bonded leather edition with gold edges and a red cloth bookmark. Absolutely MINT, never used. Whole book is perfect: cover, interior, everything! Reprints on heavy stock, stories from early 1940’s Golden Age material and Silver Age right through to modern day ('80's) Joker stories. Batman’s number one villian has been given the deluxe treatment with this volume! This book covers stories ranging from his very first appearance in 1940 up to a gripping tale from 1987. 351 pages of the Clown Prince of Crime’s Greatest Stories! THIS COPY IS A MINT CONDITION FIRST PRINTING.
THE COMPLETE FRANK MILLER BATMAN. 1989, Longmeadow Press, First Edition, First Printing about 7 x 10 inches, profuselly illustrated in color, bound in full leather with stamped pictorial front cover, silver gilt page edges, blue silk bookmark. Absolutely MINT condition - never used! Sections of the book are: 'Introduction' by Richard Bruning; 'Batman: Year One' by Frank Miller with Art by David Mazzucchelli (this launched Miller's Batman career); 'The Dark Knight Returns', written & illustrated by Frank Miller with Klaus Janson; 'Wanted: Santa Claus, Dead or Alive', written by Denny O'Neil, Art by Miller and Steve Mitchell; 'The Mark of Batman' by Alan Moore. Also has 'Notes by Frank Miller' section. SUPERMAN also appears in the book.
