Easy fight for Old G, til you realize DD adapts after each death. Can you imagine the look on Superman's face as he saw an economy-sized Doomsday locked in a struggle with Godzilla?

Nastier thought : What If Godzilla had been born from the radiation of Krypton's death?

Godzilla has the amazing ability to regenerate his body. He's survived being trapped in a volcano for chrissakes! Heck, the only thing to kill him has been the Oxygen Destroyer and his body undergoing a nuclear meltdown.

I think this fight would be more of a standstill, with neither combatant winning.

Interesting idea. Since Godzilla mutates according to the amount of radition he is exposed to, we would have a Godzilla larger then anything we have seen before. Also, since he channels that radition in his body and can release it through his mouth as a beam, he would be firing Kryptonite!

My question though, is how the hell would a godzillasaurus wind up on Krypton? And how would it make its way to Earth after the planet blows and turns it into Godzilla?

Wouldn't need to be ON Krypton, all it'd take would be the use of kryptonite as a non-fissioning component of the A-bomb that awoke Godzilla in 1954, or exposure to a chunk of kryptonite sometime since, Godzilla feeds on radiation & re-emits it in his atomic breath & nuclear pulse attacks.
