I met Gerard 'Superboy' Christopher today at a comics/toy show in Manhattan. He has his own web page now (gerardchristopher.com), and was selling photos from the TV series.

At this same show, I saw a homemade copy of the 'Superman' director's cut on sale. It was a two-tape set that included 42 minutes of additional footage, and had a running time of over THREE hours! On the back of the box, there was a description that said this aired on ABC in 1981. And it also said that further bits of info are elaborated on, including the 'agent' and the 'golf course.' What was this referring to? Because I don't remember these, even from the theatrical version.

About 38. (There's no birth date listed for him in the IMDb, but he turned 32 sometime during the run of ADVENTURES OF SUPERBOY.)

According to the IMDb, he's been playing a doctor on the soap opera SUNSET BEACH for the past two years, and he has a movie coming out.

Towards the end of the lengthy end credits of 'Superman: The Movie', pay attention to the cast of characters. They make mention of certain areas of the film, such as 'Superman's First Night' and 'Golf Course'. The 'golf course' scene (which takes place after the first missile control scene) was originally intended for the film but was edited from the theatrical version, but only restored for the expanded cut. The 'agent' mentioned in the 'golf course' scene is the one who alerts the president to trouble (his key line is 'the Pentagon's calling, sir'....that's the agent. This was a character in the expanded version, as it was edited out of the theatrical cut.

I hope I've answered your question.

He was 32 when the show ended in 1991, so he must be 40, now.
