From all the comics, movies etc, does anyone have a max speed at which Superman has flown.

I remember in Superman 1, Superman flew around the earth to make it spin in the opposite direction (so as to turn back time). At his peak I guess he was doing one rev of the earth a second ... that would be about 40,000 km/s. That's pretty quick!

Got any variations on this?

Not only could Supes go translight, he could do it effortlessly. Didn't even need a running start. Remember when Ambush Bug hitched a ride by *bamfing* onto Supes as he hit light speed? IN THE AIR RIGHT OVER METROPOLIS?
