universe saga still 'happened' or has it 'not now have happened no more'?

>

I read Superman and have never seen any Superman story where we see even a hint that the Pocket U has been retconned into nonexistence*, yet from time to time I come across this question. Was this something suggested in LEGION or somewhere? I did read ZERO HOUR and don't recall anyone making the Pocket U 'not now have happened no more.'

* It must have happened for Superman, since he still kinda beats himself up over executing the Phantom Zone goons. Most recently (I think) the 1998 'Ghosts' Superman annual.

IIRC, the whole IDEA behind ZERO HOUR was to remove extraneous and niggling continuity bits, like the Pocket U. It DID foster some new headaches in its place (like the mess that was made of Hawkman).

The LSH books were entirely restarted as a result of this mini-series, so they were probably most affected by the loss of the Pocket Universe (since that meant they never had a Superboy in the Legion).

What happened to certain characters still seems to exist. But the place where it occurred no longer does.
