Despite rumors all over the internet, Cinescape Online today reported that Superman Lives will still be made, the only casting choice being Nic Cage as Superman. The behind the camera work has no real definates with the exception of that retard Jon Peters. Also, Kevin Smith is still getting credit for the screenplay, as is Dan Gilroy. Burton is now TOTALLY off the project (praise god!). The director is still TBA, but Cinescape reports that WB has talked to Michael Bay, Martin Campbell, Brett Ratner, Shekhar Kapur, 'as well as at least a half dozen others.' Hopefully the director will infuse a little creative input and get rid of some of Peters' goofy ideas.

All nonsense. This movie isn't set until the cameras roll, and maybe not even then. I still don't think Cage will wind up doing it.
You get rid of Peters' goofy ideas by getting rid of Peters. Otherwise, all you get rid of is the director.

<sigh> Why can't they just kill this thing already?
Sadly...
The way they're reportedly butchering this film, Smith would be smart to have his name taken off, or at least he should use a pseudonym.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Jesus!!
Richard Donner wants to make a new Superman film REAL bad. My money's on him.
Get rid of Peters, and his goofy ideas will go with him. Get rid of Burton, and HIS stupid ideas go down the drain. We've gotten rid of half of the problem. Now we need to scrap the rest.
