Question about Superman movies.

I recently saw the first two movies on tv and the film looked to be in pretty poor shape. Does anyone know if remastered copies of any of the movies exist and if they have been or will be released on DVD? Also, does anyone know if the longer version of the first movie is available in stores. I would appreciate e-mail in addition to any

Well, Richard Donner was campaigning to have the films digitally remastered for a home video/DVD release (there was even a website devoted to this campaign by a guy named Hiphats), but so far WB has turned a blind eye to it all.
