Well, TV Land is doing a 48 hour marathon of 40 of the best episodes of THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN.

Here's some very tough questions.

In two of the episodes repeated during the marathon there are VISUAL THINGS in each connected with previous incarnations of Superman on film.

The episodes are

SUPERMAN IN EXILE PANIC IN THE SKY.

Identify the 'things' shown in each episode.

Also in PANIC IN THE SKY, Jack Larson is transformed into a cricket through dialogue. Identify the line.

And how does PANIC IN THE SKY contradict THE STOLEN COSTUME (also in the marathon)

Lastly, in SUPERMAN ON EARTH, the costumes of three famous heroes appear in the Krypton sequences. Name the heroes.

Panic in the Sky demonstrates that Superman has more than one costume, The Stolen Costume is built around the notion that Kal-el has but one super-suit hence the contradiction.

It's not necessarily a contradiction. He could have gotten more super-suits later. You might even assume that the events in 'The Stolen Costume' prompted him to secure extras.

I've been watching this marathon since noon Saturday. It's now 436a on Sunday. I think I'll quit soon.
