some Superman issue help

This sounds as if it might be 'Lois Lane¹s Outlaw Son,' _Lois Lane_ 46 (Jan 64).

It wasn't Superman, but Superboy. 'Superboy Meets Ben-Hur,' _Superboy_ 92 (Oct 61).

Trying to narrow down what issues had these plots for a customer. Since I'm drawing a total blank, I thought I'd go to the experts. Here is what I know...

Probably published 25-35 years ago. Possibly further back. One story had Lex Luthor about to kill Superman but deciding not to. In the end he becomes a good guy and marries Lois Lane. I actually found an issue of Action Comics with a similiar story, but it was a different woman entirely and marriage was never mentioned. The other had Superman meeting Ben Hur or something. He uses his heat vision to make popcorn, sells the popcorn to buy horses. If possible, please e-mail reponses, as I'm hoping to give the customer an answer by Friday.
