1) We all know Supes has super hearing and I know that Luthor in the 1st Superman movie used a high frequency to send a message to Superman. But has anyone tried to use a extremely super high frequency to blow out his ear drums? Wouldnt this work? Without his hearing the crooks would have a slight advantage over Supes.
2)Is Supes iimune to liquid nitrogen? If someone would pour liquid nitrogen on him and was fast enough to hit Supes with a crow bar, wouldnt Supes just shatter?
3) If Bizarro has the same strenght or at least close enough, couldnt he use his strength to poke Supes eye out? Or break Supes hand, etc?
The reason for these weird questions, is that I just wonder why none of these actions were never used by any villian on Supes? It would be a change of pace, than the ever so popular and redundant use of kryptonite.
thx again for taking the time to answer these weird questions

Tobakuki asks:
I doubt it would work. From what i have seen Superman's hearing is variable like his vision, meaning he can adjust what level it works at. Otherwise he'd never be able to listen to specific sounds without them being drowned out by other sounds. If you hit him with sounds too intense for him to handle he'd probably shut off his hearing or at least adjust it to a level where the sound was less bothersome.
Depending on the explanation of invulnerability he either has a skintight field that would keep the liquid notrogen from reaching the skin or his body tissue is so dense it would resist the effect. Remember this guy can survive in deep space without any skin covering- so he can take extreme cold better than you or I.
This one I'll give you.
On #3- I'd say the reason no one pokes Superman's eye out is that it also never happens to anyone else. It would seem weird to let the invulnerable guy get hit with a damaging hand-to-hand attack while no one uses the same attack on the less powerful guys. like Green Lantern or Hawkman.

Actually, a villain did try this on Supes once on 'Lois & Clark.'
Considering that Superman can survive in airless space, I doubt liquid nitrogen would give him much of a problem.
No, him am able to do that, but him not hurt superman because him really want to!
