Saw this episode at Wondercon today, Superman and Aquaman meet!

Episode opens with Lois and Jimmy on Bibbo's fishing boat searching for leads about mysterious attacks upon shipping lanes by...fish!
Bibbo discounts this as rumors until a herd of Killer Whales and Flying Fish attack and sink the boat...Superman arrives to rescue them from the marine life courtesy of being signalled by Jimmy's ultrasound watch...
Lois and Jimmy go to the Metropolis Aquarium to find out why fish would behave that way, the oceanographer attributes it to mating rituals before he is paged and nervously excuses himself...Lois of course smells a story and sneaks into the building, leaving Jimmy to park her car (big mistake, Jimmy only has a learner's permit!) finding the Oceanographer speaking to Lex Luthor who is commenting on bringing the 'problem' further inland...
Lois sneaks around the building and comes across a room with a tank of water imprisoning...Aquaman! She is discovered by the oceanographer, who takes her prisoner and transports her and Aquaman to the city dump after Lex finds out and tells him to terminate the project (cause with Lois captive its only a matter of time before Supes shows up)...
Seems Lexcorp is behind the underwater demolition/mining procedures which are affecting life in Atlantis and Aquaman was sent to stop the next BIG explosion which would essentially start a war between the surface world and his kingdom...
Aquaman and Lois escape from their captors courtesy of Aquaman's telepathic summoning of seagulls to distract their captors and snatching the keys to his shackles...Lois and Aquaman escape on Motorcycle and try to stop the explosive events from happening...Some of Luthors goons pursue on bike and succeed in causing them to run right off a cliff and plunge into the water below...Lois is apparantly eaten by a shark...
But its all a ruse as the shark transports Lois to safety, while SUpes, searching for Lois after Jimmy never saw her return, hears the gunfire, andapprehends the two goons...SUpes locates Lois and sees Aquaman for the first time, who swims off to intercept Luthor whose ship has already left dock and is at the location where the mining will take place...
The operation is already underway when SUpes, Lois and Aquaman arrive...battle ensues between the mining crew, frogmen and Supes, Aquaman and the sea creatures he calls to his aid...Superman disarms the explosives before they detonate...
Then when the Atlantean supersize submarine arrives it looks like the good guys have won, till Luthor's captain takes a potshot at Aquaman and as a result the Atlantean troops open fire on Luthors ship...Luthor escapes via helicopter, leaving his men adrift in the ocean...the assault is called off by Aquaman who worries that his domain is still not safe from surface interference and warns he'll be watching as he and the submarine descend into the ocean...
Classic look Aquaman (both hands ma!) with the current Aquaman grumpy attitude...nice animation too
