Superman movie and the X-Men

There will be no start date for Superman movie until the X-Men movie comes out next year. And then only if it is a hit. The same for any new Batman Movie. In the committee structure that is now called creativity in hollywood originality means nothing. If he X-Men is a hit than comic book heroes are in and a rash of comic book movies will be put in production including Superman. If X-Men bombs no one or no committee will have the courage to try another for a very long time. Strange how a D.C icon depends on a Marvel product for a starting date.

a bit of the subject but has anyone heard anything more about micheal keaton playing batman in the new batman film and batman in the new superman film ?

Yeah, it's not goign to happen. batman has been axed entirely from SUPERMAN LIVES.

Now if only SUPERMAN LIVES would get axed....

No were, That is my own opinion based on what i know of the current Hollywood structure. Gone are the days of a studio head saying,'That sounds like a good Idea for a movie, lets green light it.' Now such decidtions are made by a committee. And when a committee wants to design a horse it comes out a camels. Waiting to see how the X-Men movie is received is a way of covering there corporate butts.
