Superman goes well beyond comics. he is bonafide pop culture. Having appeared in so many entertainment entities and crossed over so many times both officially and unofficially. parodies etc. and his sheld is used for many things in pop culture one of the funniest non official things was saturday night lives funeral. but one of the all time worst uses for superman was his crossover on to that cartoon 'The Brady Kids' what are some of the low points for all of you?

Superman IV.

The stupidity that infested Lois and Clark, primarily the clone and New Krypton arcs. The recently-ended Superman Red and Blue comic storyline.

For me, the low point would have to be, right before, around, and after Crisis, right up to Alan Moore's 'Whatever Happened....'. Some of those stories, including his 'breakup' with Batman in Worlds Finest, define the word strained.

His death, for one. Poorly written, executed (if you pardon the term) as a publicity stunt, and starring an unknown monster with no motivation, it made me doubt that anyone at Time Warner understood Superman. Thankfully, 'Reign of the Supermen' reassured me, but my faith in DC to do right by him was hurt a bit for good.

The other low point was the third Superman film. The fourth may have been a worse movie, but the third's treatment of Supes was unforgivably dim.
