In case you’ve wondered DC banned the inclusion of the great comics “Batman Year 100″ from the Best American Comics of 2008″.
Valerie from Occasional Superheroine says:
I would think the inclusion of work like Pope’s “Batman Year 100″ in a prestigious mainstream collection would only help DC and sales of the trade paperback.
But I think they don’t need anything from any other publishers as they are too big to care.
Still one line refusal letter? The artist and the publisher certainly deserve better.

Well when the machine is too big and too technical I suppose more artists would prefer anther more humble home for their comics.
