Are the 'World of' miniseries (Krypton, Metropolis, Smallville) still considered in continuity? If so, I'm curious to see if anyone writing the books today still considers the real reason Krypton was destroyed and the fact that Martha Kent was married before she married Jonathan

The bulk of 'World of Krypton' is still in continuity. In fact, their was a Superboy ish right before his adventures in Hypertime that dealt with Van-L. And prior to that their was Super + with the Legion of Superheroes who were stuck in the 20th Century. Went through a crash course in Kryptonian history, including Black Zero. So that too seems to be a canon.

I don't think there is any reason why they can't be in continuity. Well, besides the fact that World of Smallville said that Jonathan was in WWII, when it's been said recently that he was in Korea. I like it better that way, because it makes the Kents around 60 instead of 70(and that my great uncle was a POW in Korea like Jonathan!). And I assume that you're referring to the bombing of a Kryptonian city by the group Black Zero as the inadvertent cause of Krypton's destruction. I don't see why that can't be in continuity either.
